Private Lessons

Private lessons are offered on the following instruments:

All Brass Instruments, All Woodwind Instruments, String Instruments, Guitars (Acoustic & Electric), Bass (Electric & Acoustic), Traditional Piano Studies, Jazz Piano Studies, Drums & Percussion, Vocal Studies, Traditional Theory Studies

All private lessons are conducted in a private studio on a “one to one “ basis lasting ½ hour per week. Parents or legal guardians of that student may attend any lesson at any time without prior notice.

A student will be taught all the required fundamentals involved with their instrument, as well as receive basic theory instruction as they progress through their music studies. They will have exposure to different genres of music and gain a strong approbation for music and all the benefits it has to offer.

At any time a student may choice to advance to any one of the optional education methods (see the following).

Tiered Education Programs

Tier One, a study program designed to include existing instrument studies along with either a secondary instrument or beginner level theory studies.
Tier Two, a study program designed to include secondary level theory (History / Harmony) and extended private instrument study instruction.
Tier Three, a study program designed to include arranging / composition with extended private instrument studies and participation in a structured ensemble program

Lesson Policy

All lessons are charged and paid for in advance no refunds or make up lessons will be issued due to student absence from lessons. If a student wishes to stop their lessons on a permanent basis Time Music Studios Inc. requires written notice four weeks prior to the last attending lesson. No refunds will be granted for any lessons not attended by the student prior to the last lesson stated on the written notice. Any post-dated cheques still remaining will be returned to the student / parent.
